Field Clover (Chrysaspis campestris, Trifolium campestre), fam. Fabaceae.
Sometimes grows in the forest. Its appearance is intermediate between the regular Clover and Alfalfa. Most sources now do not separate the genus Chrysaspis from Trifolium.
The plant forms dense accumulations of shoots with small yellow inflorescences almost devoid of smell. It easily bears poor, acid soils, but loves sunshine.
