Canada Goldenrod (Solidago canadensis), fam. Asteraceae.
Quite abundant both in the forest and in the city. This plant has ornamental qualities, blooms in August-September. Toxic, but used sometimes to treat kidney and other diseases; it is also a good honey plant. Interestingly, goldenrod is a nasty weed, has a quarantine status and prohibited for import to many countries. In China it is even called a national disaster.
