Brunnera, fam. Boraginaceae.
Despite the obvious family links to the Forget-me-not, Brunnera has some special features - at first, its leaves are heart-shaped and slightly corrugated. Its flowers do not have yellow middle spot, like those of the Forget-me-not. It blooms in April.
To grow successfully, this perennial plant requires humid place, protected from the sun in summer. However, in spring, during the flowering, the sun is rather beneficial. Brunnera is propagated by division or by seeds.
