Lady Fern (Athyrium filix-femina), fam. Woodsiaceae.
   The sori located not in pairs along the conductive vein of the frond (as in Male Fern), but one-by-one.
   Chemical composition of Lady Fern is close to Male Fern, but the active substances concentration is lower. Apart from antiparasitic application, the tincture of Lady Fern rhizomes is used for some disorders of nervous system, digestive tract, and against bleeding.
