Junegrass (Koeleria), fam. Poaceae.
   Perennial grasses with narrow-linear leaves. Their inflorsecences are spike-like panicles.
   This plant is typical for steppes, though it also occurs in more nothern areas, for example, around Kyiv along the railways. It can be a pasture fodder grass for sheep.
