Field Mouse-ear (Cerastium arvense)

Field Mouse-ear; Field Chickweed (Cerastium arvense), fam. Caryophyllaceae.
A perennial branchy herb, occurs in some dry parts of the forest, along the roads, quite rarely. Blooms starting from May. The flowers are recognized by white color and each petal being partially dissected in half. Sometimes it becomes an agricultural weed. Grows well even on poor and dry soils. The herb infusion is consumed as sedative and used for bathes against hemorrhoids; but its chemical composition is not studied well.
