Common Lilac (Syringa vulgaris), fam. Oleaceae.
A large variety of cultivars in the city; sometimes it is found even in the forest. In the wild nature it grows in the Balkans.
The plant contains strong bitterness. It can be used as antipyretic, antiinflammatory, and diuretic remedy. Lilac is slightly toxic, its smell can cause headache if inhaled for long time.
