Sometimes grows in the city and in the forest. This tree is almost useless. It flowers at the time of leaf sprouting, in April. The winged fruits (samaras) remain on the tree for a long time. There is information that these fruits can be edible while unripe.
The plant has antipyretic, astringent, wound-healing properties.
