Cow Parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris)

Cow Parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris), fam. Apiaceae.
Has pinnate patterned leaves; prefers moist places. Edible, but does not have particular taste. Provides anthelmintic, painkilling, sedative, antiinflammatory, anticonvulsant actions. It is important not to mix the Cow Parsley with poisonous hemlock, which has similar leaves (fortunately, the latter is not growing in eastern Kyiv in significant quantities).
