Grapevine (Vitis), fam. Vitaceae.
Often grows on wire supports and along the walls of old houses.
Of course, our nothern grape cultivars are far from the best in the world by their taste, but the benefits of wildish and tart fruits exceeds those of artificially selected sweet ones. So, we should not refuse for the local grapes, since they are ancient and generally recognized cure for cardiovascular, respiratory and kidney diseases, and in some cases even capable of stopping cancer progress. Sometimes, however, these berries can cause digestive disorder, especially in case of poor food combination; it is especially desirable to avoid grapes that begin to ferment.
