Aster, fam. Asteraceae.
Small flowers, remarkable for ending the year cycle, blooming in the last warm days of October. During that time, it is amazing to see the wide fields of flowers in the hard-to-get places of our forests, and they are almost similar to those grown in the beds of the city.
Folk medicine uses this plant as an expectorant, against tuberculosis, gastrointestinal and skin diseases, and neurasthenia.
