Rowan; Mountain ash (Sorbus aucuparia), fam. Rosaceae.
   Analogous to the rowan species listed before (Black Chokeberry, Checkertree), its fruits are rich in vitamins, minerals, and tanning compounds. It helps to eliminate toxic substances and wastes, and decreases the level of harmful cholesterol in the blood.
